One Mac. Multiple private Vaults.

Create separate Vaults for different collections. Each Vault has its own password and storage location.

Choose where each Vault lives.

Keep a Vault on your Mac or a supported external drive and use the storage you already own.

Private can still feel familiar.

Browse and organize photos and videos inside the currently open Vault in a library designed to feel natural on macOS.

Send only what you choose.

AmazingDrop sends selected photos and videos between your devices or to people you trust with end-to-end encryption. It transfers selected files; it does not automatically sync your library.

Protected—not just hidden.

Files inside a Vault are encrypted, so obtaining the Vault folder does not expose ordinary, directly readable originals.

Recovery stays with you.

Keep your password and Recovery Phrase safe. Amazingface cannot restore access if both are lost.

Amazingface is available now for iPhone and Mac. A native Windows app is planned.

Frequently asked questions

Can I keep an Amazingface Vault on an external drive?
Yes. Amazingface for Mac can store a Vault in a supported folder on an external drive. The drive must be connected when the app needs to access that Vault.
Does Amazingface upload my Mac Vault to its own cloud library?
No. Amazingface does not operate a hosted cloud photo library. AmazingDrop is a separate transfer feature whose relay temporarily handles encrypted transfer data.
Can I browse a Vault on another device?
Not in this release. Amazingface does not currently provide unified browsing across devices or Vaults. You can use AmazingDrop to send selected photos and videos.
Does AmazingDrop automatically sync my library?
No. AmazingDrop sends only the photos and videos you choose. It is not an automatic library-sync service.
Is one Vault on one drive a backup?
No. A single device or drive is still one copy. Drive failure, loss, deletion, or loss of recovery information can make files unavailable.
